My Story

My journey into occupational therapy began in an unexpected way. It was through the life of my nephew, who was born with a terminal illness, that I first encountered the world of occupational therapy. The doctors told us he would only live two-three years, but we were blessed with six years of his light and presence. During that time, occupational therapists came into our lives, offering not just treatment, but hope. They didn’t just prescribe what was needed—they asked us what we wanted, what our goals were, and how they could help us achieve them. This approach was so different from the typical medical experience that it completely transformed my understanding of healthcare.

Before this, I had never heard of occupational therapy, but the way these professionals engaged with my nephew and our family opened my eyes. They spent time with us, listened to us, and truly cared about our needs and desires. This experience was a turning point for me. It made me realize that I wanted to be that kind of professional—someone who could make a difference in people's lives not just by treating symptoms but by understanding their stories and empowering them to take control of their health.

When my nephew passed away, I felt a strong calling to pursue this path in his memory. I decided to dedicate my life to helping others in the same way those therapists helped my family. Over the years, I've traveled the world, learning and growing in this profession, and now, after more than a decade of practice, I’m ready to launch my own practice—Neuro Empowering. My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to live their best lives.

Launching this practice is a leap of faith, but it's one that I’m ready to take. I've always believed in the power of small steps—how even the smallest change in mindset or routine can lead to significant improvements in quality of life. My faith in Christ and His promises are what has led me to positive changes. That’s what I aim to do with Neuro Empowering: to provide the tools and support that my clients need to make those small but powerful changes. Whether it's through interactive cognitive exercises or personalized neurotherapy, my mission is to help my clients regain their independence and thrive.

I invite you to join me on this journey. Let’s work together to unlock your potential, overcome challenges, and create a life filled with purpose and joy.
